Rated 5 out of 5 by Chip from Love These Boots! I bought these boots and I broke my wrist days before they arrived so I can't ride in them yet. But I've used them for a 3 mile walk in up to 9" of snow. I can't say enough good about them. Really warm, seem well made and light weight. I'm 5'3" and the boots come up almost to the crease behind my knee. It wasn't a problem walking and I'm sure when riding it won't be a problem then either. I bought a half size bigger to fit winter socks. They may be slightly big, but with the laces tightened up, my feet don't slop around in them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TrishaK from Finally! A tall boot that fits my calves I've been looking for a tall boot to wear in cold weather for a couple of years. The "slide on" boots never fit me correctly because the calves are always too tight, and I have a high instep from an old foot injury. These boots have some stretch panel next to the zipper, in addition to the lace-up feature so that I can control calf width. When I tried them on there didn't see to be much ankle support, but I can live with that. I'm looking forward to wearing these this fall/winter, so can't comment yet as to durability, but I think they'll be great for snowy barn days.

The boots were too tall and too wide even after I laced the boot up. I loved the look and quality, but no luck. I have looked at some children’s boots, but my size was not available. If there is any suggestions for a boot for me, please let me know. I am 15-16 for a tall boot, and 12 to 13 for the calf. HELP

These are now my new 'barn boots" for the winter, no worries about wet feet from stepping in puddles trying to catch horses in muddy pastures. I love the adjustability of these boots. I have wide calves and am able to adjust these to fit just fine. The only 'con' I would say is that there isn't much in the way of arch support. Still, my feet were not sore even after wearing these all day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lori from I love these Because I have skinny calves I end up swimming in most boots unless they offer a 'slim' calf size. With these I can adjust them to fit with the laces then just use the zipper in the back. I bought these for teaching in cold barns and muddy arenas and they also allow me to hop on and ride when needed. I have only worn them a few times so I cannot speak to their longevity but for now they fit and are toasty.
