Very Nice Quality for the Price
I was very pleasantly surprised when I took these out of the box. They look like a much more expensive leather boot. The foot fits me true to size. (6) The ankle area is a bit more tapered than I prefer for a winter boot. It still zipped up OK though. I do like to wear wool socks on really cold days so hopefully they will stretch a little as they're worn.
The suede inner calf is OK. Not sure why it is there though. I feel plain leather throughout would make cleaning and maintaining these much easier. Now I have to use a suede brush after each ride. Kind of an annoying factor, but oh well.
All in all they are very comfy, well made and seem warm enough so far. I give them a thumbs up!

Good for the cold
i’ve had these a few months now and they’ve been a life saver this winter. it gets super cold here and usually my toes feel like they’re breaking every time i dismount. decided to try these this year & it’s been a life changing difference. yes, my feet still feel cold sometimes, but i can still feel my toes by the end of my ride so i’ll call it a win. only complaint is that the snaps tend to come undone pretty easily but it DOES seem like it’s getting better the more i break them in

Great value on this leather, insulated field boot!
I bought these last month, and I could not believe how beautiful they are for the price! They fit me perfectly right out of the box. The back zipper makes getting in and out of them so easy. I bought a size 9 regular calf, and it was perfect for me. I have very thin, long legs however, so the calf might be narrow for a more average figure. What I especially like is that the boot is tall, and fits me correctly as a hunt boot should. For reference, I am 5'8" and 140. I never expected to find a boot like this for such a reasonable price! And the fact that I purchased them during a sale was even better!

Very attractive and warm !
Great looking , not bulky yet warm , extremely comfortable . I bought the Eliza Dress boot in the summer and was very pleased with the fit and comfort , so I bought the Thinsulate version for winter and have been very pleased with how warm they are with out the bulk of most winter boots .

Great boots for the price
I haven't had them long enough to comment on durability, but they look durable. The soles are fairly thick, thicker than my Ariats, but look fine and feel comfortable. The inner calf is suede, I was not expecting that but I like it. I would not say the lining will keep you warm in the coldest of situations, but it does add warmth and probably helps by about 10-20 degrees. I typically wear a 9.5 but bought a 10 to add winter socks. I would say they run slightly longer in the foot than the Ariat Heritage. I wear an X-Wide calf in those boots and they require some break in time, these boots might run a half-inch wider. I could zip them up easily as soon as I put heel lifts in and I think they will accommodate thicker socks and breeches. They might be slightly less attractive than the Ariat, but to me they still look good. For the price, I had to keep them.

Nice looking boot, but too narrow
I have the non-insulated Eliza tall boots and LOVE them. I bought the same exact size in the insulated field boot, and they don't fit- I literally can't even get them zipped past my ankle! I do have a wider calf, but thought the wide calf model of these would fit, since that's what I have for my non-insulated ones. Back they go, too bad since they seemed like nice boots. So, if you are ordering based on your calf size in the non-insulated Eliza tall boots, these may not work for you.

Comfy and warm!
I was skeptical about how warm these boots could be, but I’ve been wearing them over the last two weeks and even when temperatures were down in the high 20’s/low 30s, and on concrete floors my feet stayed warm. They were a little stiff and uncomfortable across my ankle, but put some leather conditioner on them and they seem to be working out just fine. Perfect fit too!

great quality weird sizing
The leather & construction quality is fabulous but the sizing was a bit off for my leg. The calf runs a bit large compared to the size chart

Perfect fit, breaking in (relatively) painlessly
These boots fit me really well right out of the box. I didn't measure when I ordered because I like to live dangerously, but I did base my order on the size I wear in my Ariat tall boots, and they were spot on. As is to be expected with new tall boots, they are very stiff when you first put them on, but I wore them (without conditioning first... what is wrong with me?!) to do am chores at my barn to break them in because, again, I like to live dangerously. After feeding, turning out, and mucking stalls for 10 horses by myself they were pretty close to broken in. They dropped quite a bit and, although they were rubbing my ankles quite a bit, didn't leave me with any blisters, and my feet and calves were toasty warm the whole time. I am giving these a 5/5 for all around value, comfort, and styling!
