The Hay OptiMizer for Paddocks is a slow feeder that's proven to keep hay clean, be safe and durable, and quick to refill. And the best thing, less than 1% of hay fed in an OptiMizer is wasted on the ground. The paddock feeder holds up to 250 pounds of hay from square bales and will easily feed up to four horses together. Horses slowly graze hay with their heads down in a natural position. Hay consumption is controlled by a durable and gentle knotless net that drapes over the hay. The net is mounted on a stainless steel assembly that quickly slides open to refill hay. The manger and legs are made of the proven polymer that is used to make playground equipment. All the corners are rounded or beveled for safety and there are drainage holes to keep hay fresh. There are handholds on the front and back, making it easy for a person to move it around a paddock by hand.
Made in Canada.

To withstand the pulling and chewing associated with a hay net in use, the netting is extremely durable and will not give under pressure. As a result, it’s important to ensure the hay net is safely secured and won’t become loose as the hay is consumed.

Shipping Details:
Each Paddock Hay OptiMizer weighs about 100 pounds and is shipped on a pallet. Up to four Paddock OptiMizers can be shipped on one pallet. They are delivered by large, commercial transport trucks. After you place your order, you will be sent the anticipated shipping date within two business days. You will be sent shipping details, including the carrier, tracking number, and delivery date on the day your order is shipped.
You will be called by the carrier to schedule delivery. Please ensure that someone inspects your shipment prior to accepting or signing its receipt. If there is any shipping damage to an OptiMizer, refuse the shipment and have the damaged OptiMizer reloaded on the truck and returned to us so we can send you a replacement. If you accept or sign for an OptiMizer that has been damaged in transit, it is your responsibility and we cannot provide a replacement free of charge.
For one OptiMizer, a regular truck without a liftgate will be scheduled. One OptiMizer can be lifted off a truck by hand assuming you have two able-bodied people available to receive the delivery. For orders of two or more OptiMizers, a special truck with a liftgate will be used to ensure the products are safely lowered to the ground.
