Great low sugar feed!
About a year ago my mustang mare was diagnosed with uveitis. She already struggled with seasonal IBH (sweet itch), so I decided to make some changes to her feed to try to limit any inflammation as much as I could. I swapped her over to this feed and I'm very happy with the results. Over the past year I noticed reduced itching and her eyes have remained clear with little discharge. Of course I also do other things to help like fly masks and the Smart Itch supplement, but I think the change in feed has helped too. My mare is fit and shiny with dapples and has more energy/ is more forward (without being tense or jittery) now than when she was on a grain based pellet. I'm glad I switched and would recommend this feed for horses needing a low sugar/ low starch feed, or horses with inflammation issues. It is pricy, and I wish it was more comparable cost-wise to other premium feeds on the market, otherwise this is a great product! I have not has any issues with quality.

Wonderful quality!
It is hard to find quality feed that has no corn, soy or grain for my easy keeper. I love the high quality ingredients, including spirulina which really helps with respiratory and skin issues. It is pricey but my horse, who is in full dressage work, only gets 1 pound per day, along with quality hay. She loves this feed and savors every bit.

Price and quality don’t match
I’ve gone through both the feed and forage now and am going to look for something else. What I like about this product are the whole ingredients and lack of soy products. What I don’t like: My horse doesn’t seem to care for it, he leaves behind the lentils and doesn’t finish his pellets most of the time. The rose hips are really, really hard. I don’t see how a horse could safely chew them, much less digest them. It’s basically a bunch of hay/alfalfa with a tiny bit of extras mixed in. I still have to add supplements for joints, coat, calming, etc. I don’t see how the price justifies what I’m getting.

Nutritious
This is great addition to my horses diet. I have to be very careful of ingredients and this is perfect. He is susceptible to laminitis he licks his feed tub clean.

Excellent Feeds for Horses!
Fostering a horse that shows allergies. I chose to try the "natural" feeds to see if there would be improvement in his condition. Well, "Voila"! Definite improvement in his skin coat!

My horse loves it!
I use this in addition to my horses normal grain. He loves it and it doesn't cause hot behavior.

Great feed with whole ingredients!
When we switched my horse to this feed, he willing ate this feed without any hesitation! We could literally see the whole ingredients - papaya, lentils, oats! The only issue we had with this feed is that it's so appetizing that ants got into it within a couple days of opening the bag. My advice is that if you buy this feed, store it in a container, like a trash can or a dog food storage container, and beware of ants ;)

Love this product!
Even though I board my horse and have him on another feed to keep things simple.. this product is awesome for traveling to shows and for a lunchtime snack for my horse. When stabling at a recent show, this product made me feel confident that my horse was eating well and that the forage was making his stomach feel good! I will always have this on hand.

Formula has changed
I have been using the Crypto Aero feed on and off for years and recently noticed that the ingredient proportions have definitely changed. There used to be lots of papaya, rosehips, cabbage, etc. Now literally only hay pellets and oats for the feed and hay pellets and chopped hay for the forage. Too expensive to buy for these items!!
