Great Quality and Easy
I bought this for a Hunter Pace and trailering fir trail rides. So much easier to put the halter on for trailering then clip on the bit and reins for riding. The quality was better than I expected. The leather was soft and the hardware looks great. Overall I’m extremely happy and impressed.

Just ok
The name plate should have been placed on the brow band and not the pole strap.

Broke very quickly
My horse was in the crossties and pulled back as I tried to give him eyedrops and it broke with very little pressure

Should not have customized...
I ordered 2 of these. Made a mistake by customizing. These are for horses that must be 5 times the size of my horses (AQHA and APHA). They do not fit at the smallest hole and you cannot drill enough holes to fit. Leather quality is fine.

Barely Adjustable
I am so disappointed in this bridle. The quality of the leather itself is great but I would not even call the bit portion adjustable. I bought it in cob size for my 14.3 hand Morgan and the bit pieces were so long. And, you can only make the bit pieces longer not shorter. It only includes 1 adjustment hole, and there isn't a ton of room to punch another hole or two. I think the bit pieces would be too long even if I did punch a hole. Sadly I must return it. However, if your horse has a larger size head I think this would fit fine, but even then the "horse" size might run large for the average "horse" sized head.

Very Handy trail bridle!
My friends put halters on under the bridle when we go on long trail rides but it looks kind of messy. This combo halter/bridle works great and looks good doing it. Very easy to take the bit off and tie my horse. Quality is good. Only complaint is the brass fittings look so brassy that they don't look like real brass. The previous bridle I had to return because it was too small had brass fittings that looked more real. I assume the "brassy" ones will wear and look normal after some use.

Convenient Halter/Bridle Combo
Bought this for a smaller quarter horse mare who normally is on the smaller end of "cob" sized items. She measures 42" between the corners of her mouth going up over the poll.
I am really happy with the quality of leather and hardware. The brass is still in good condition after a month of sweating and going on and off of my often muddy gal.
My only complaint is the slightly wonky fitting. The crown piece is quite wide and is sometimes difficult to get over the ears quickly and easily. Fitting the bit has also been a challenge. The easiest way to bring up the height of the bit was raising the cheek pieces of the main "halter" part of the headstall, but this made the noseband too high. I ended up punching an extra hole in each of the pieces that attach the bit to the bridle.
I won't have any leeway when this gets old enough to stretch as there's no room for extra holes. Also be wary that your bit's cheekpiece could make a difference in fit! My half cheek driving bit will fit but my bigger hunter dee bit made the bridle impossibly too big to fit.

Great for the trail.
Beautiful soft leather. Nice brass fittings. I think my ear sensitive Bonnie Laddie is going to like this.
