Love it
Love it. Used it daily for over a year. Breaks in well, easy use. Wide and stable. Only wish It came in smaller size. Perfect fit on very snuggest hole on our 15 hh WH, but can’t use it on a narrower jaw.

Simple Solution!
Love this! You can keep your regular bridle, just take off the noseband and attach this in place of the bit. My horse responded super well to it and it looks elegant enough that I was able to do schooling shows in it (with permission). Highly recommend it to everyone that needs or wants to ride bitless.

Love this!
This bitless noseband converter is GENIUS! Simply removing the bit and attaching it to the headstall gives you a complete bitless bridle. The leather is excellent quality and padded nicely - both of our horses have responded beautifully to the transition to bitless.

Good idea, poor execution
Got this hoping to add it to my existing snaffle bridle and use with converter straps that also connected to the bit. But the fit is so awkward, and the noseband is so stiff that it will simply not work, even with a bridle that has is equipped for two cheekpieces on each side. The noseband is way too stiff, padded on the nose, with a huge buckle setup that includes a very stiff shield piece behind it that because of the excessive size of the whole piece, won't lay flat and twists the whole thing to the side. Another defect in the design is that the slots for the cheekpieces are too wide, allowing the cheeks to ride forward--up above I would worry about a buckle getting too near an eye, especially with the twisting. Design suggestions: improve the leather quality so it will be pliable when oiled, replace the padding on the nose with a velcro backed memory foam (similar to EquiFit liners), replace the cheek piece slots on the sides with "Ds", and make the buckle a more reasonably smaller size, with more adjustability, some soft padding, and more flexibility all around.

Disappointed
Too large and not fond of the overall quality of the leather

Does The Job
I bought this about a month ago when my horse developed a summer sore in the corner of her mouth. I was unable to use a bit and summer sores take a long time to heal. This product fit perfectly with my bridle, is nicely padded, gentle, and has given me the ability to continue to work my horse during her healing period.

Obscenely huge!
As soon as I opened the shipping box, I was disappointed. The full horse size is crazy massive, I could tell before even taking it to the barn to try on my horse. I wish they carried a cob size.
That said, it’s a really lovely leather sidepull. I’m going to try to find a cob size elsewhere, as I’m embarking on a bitless dressage journey with my older mare for fun and this will look really sharp and classy with all her other dressage gear. Plus with the thin line padding, it shouldn’t rub her sensitive nose like her rope sidepull can.

My horse absolutley loves this product!
I have a very sensitive mare that is a cow horse and a fox hunter. I jump, practice dressage, trail ride, and do everything else in this hackamore. She and I trust each other very much and due to being a cow horse she steers and goes on the bit off of my leg so having a product this gentle really makes her happy and more focused on me. She has never tossed her head in this hackamore, and I fitted it very loose so it does not create pressure. I love the fact that it matches my hunt bridle and luckily my hunt club will let me use it. I will definitely buy another one in the future. Even my Dad rides her in it!

Great idea - but won't work for my horse.
I ride my horse in a halter when I'm not in a lesson or off property, and my horse adores it and is so responsive. However the top strap of the halter that goes over the top of his head is always slipping down his neck when we gallop or canter - I'm constantly pushing it back up behind his ears. I thought this would be a good alternative to the halter + clip on reins set-up since I'd be able to use it with his regular bridle. I swapped out his loose ring rubber snaffle for this noseband and he hated it. He was tossing and shaking his head and kept throwing his head up to escape any pressure on his nose. It appears that even with very long, loopy reins this noseband just puts too much pressure on his nose - it's so totally different from his usual bit or the halter, and he really didn't like it. So I tried - I love the idea behind it, but we're back to a halter with clip ons for everyday stuff and a regular bridle with a snaffle bit for lessons.
