The tough 1200D ripstop exterior is made of RePET®, a fabric created from recycled plastic. Each sheet saves approximately 315 water bottles from going into a landfill! The extended neck provides more coverage and protection against inclement weather as well as a great fit for horses with high withers. The sheet still has all the features and dependability you know and love about Deluxe turnouts, with the added bonus of being better for the environment. Its uncompromising quality and construction include breathable waterproofing to keep your horse warm, dry, and protected, silky nylon lining that's smooth against his coat, generous shoulder gussets for freedom of movement, and a roomy tail flap. Quick-clip front closures make taking this sheet on and off a breeze, and combined with cross-belly surcingles and nylon/elastic leg straps, provide a secure, adjustable fit.

Please note: We recommend placing embroidery on a surcingle. Embroidery on the body of the sheet may interfere with the waterproofing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bhet from Barely lasted 1 season Purchased this blanket at the end of blanket season so put it away for the following year. Made it through 1 season and there is a whole bear one of the belly straps and one of the clips in the front broke. Extremely disappointed in the quality and cost as it barely lasted 1 season for $175. I've had Rambos/Horseware blankets that easily last 5+ so this was very disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Katie5k from Disappointed I had several turnouts from SmartPak for my previous horse. They held up great for a few years. My most recent purchase has been on my horse 4 times. It fits well and is definitely waterproof. All of the hardware has rust and the stitching has unraveled on both shoulder gussets. One side has a hole where the stitching came out. This sheet was not inexpensive. Another sheet which is 6 months old and cost less than half of the SmartPak product is perfect. I wanted a high neck turnout for the winter. Returns aren't easy anymore - I don't have a printer at home so I had to pay for return shipping. I'll probably pay to have this repaired and have all of the hardware replaced with stainless steel. One of the chest clips no longer closes. Less than a week of use.

I have been experiencing broken snaps more frequently on the Smartpak blankets. Still love the rest of the blanket, but I think the snap quality is declining. Also, it would be great if smartpak included an extra snap or two, as they are easy to replace, but not easy to find that exact kind online. Or even sell the replacement snaps. I can harvest one off a leg strap, but would rather have a new one

Rated 4 out of 5 by FarLeys from Appreciate an earth-friendly option! I was really excited to receive and try this sheet out on my high-withered guy. He's only worn it a couple of times and so far it's been great, BUT - other reviews of the earth-friendly line mention that the hardware doesn't hold up. Unfortunately I found this to be true, which is why I took a star off. We had the hardware on the top chest strap break on the third wear, but I was able to easily swap out the strap with one off a different smartpak blanket I have. We'll use this sheet until it gives out and hopefully by then, Smartpak will be selling ultimates with earth friendly fabric ;) I would recommend this sheet to someone who only needs it intermittently.

Wearing well & well made. Costly—more than twice what my prior well-made sheets cost— too bad those weren’t available in high-neck.
