Tiny!
Size of a curry comb. You would need 10-20 of them to make a decent scratch pad for a horse

Horse is using it
I bought this to encourage my big Paint gelding to stop scratching himself on his water bucket (and thus destroying it). My husband installed two sections of it on the top of the door to his stall, wrapping it over the top, so the horse would naturally rub on it. The first night it was apparent he had used it. There is always hair and dirt on it, so I know he is using it, but unfortunately he is still rubbing on his bucket. I'm hoping he will gradually transition to this item. It is sturdy and well-made, and seems like it will last forever.

Sensation Scratcher!
This scratcher has been up for two weeks. I was worried if Dakota was going to use it or not, but I found his mane in it the next morning! He uses it everyday! It is versatile and easy to attach. The only thing I would improve on it would be to make the washers or screw heads slightly bigger or the holes smaller to hold it more securely. Dakota managed to pop it off in 3 days, however, I did loosen the screws a bit and
that has helped so far. I am going to order additional ones to extend it and place around his pasture. We're extremely happy with this product!

Nice idea but......
I ordered three of these, one for each horse I have, and I was so disappointed when I got them. They are so smallest not what expected. Yes they are softer than the outside door latch that they usually rub themselves on, but not as effective in satisfying the itch. Back to the door latch for all of them!

Great Self Scratcher!
My mini has been shedding and even though I groom him daily this scratcher lets him have a go at the itchy spots when I put him in his stall at night. I know he uses it because there is fur on it in the morning. They are super heavy duty - I used 2 together to make sure he could get enough space rubbed.

Fits perfectly in doorway entry.
Safe and my horse loves it. He can do past of his own shedding instead of me!

Solid Product
My 32 year old pony loves to scratch and rub on anything he can get to. I put two of these up in his run-in and in a paddock. I would like to have a corner scratcher that is double the size of this.

Well made, easy to put up
My older horse was itching his rear on a post in his stall (we did ck him for health issues like worms, etc.) and the post was getting pretty beat up. The BO said a-ok to using scratch n all's, so we put 4 up. I called her two days later to see if the old boy was using it, and she said 'all the time'. We added 2 more down below the prior 4, and are happy to see they were dirt encrusted and hair filled almost immediately. The post is protected, the horse is scratching safely, and it took little work to get these things up (drill with bits) in no time.

These are so awesome!
I'm so glad to see SmartPak is carrying these. I put them up in my horse's stall so he could scratch on a 4x4 support post that is halfway across the open side of his stall. Initially I put up 6-3 one one inside corner and 3 on the other-but then saw that he needed the outside corners covered also so I added 2 and 2 to the outside corners. He didn't need the lowest of the 3 on the outside because of how he lifts his head to rub his neck back and forth. The first ones I put up 6 or 7 years ago are still in good shape. The numbs are just a little less "stick" and a bit more rigid but still work fine.
