Rated 4 out of 5 by PonyMom from Lovely color I bought this for my 13.3h pony since a "pony" sized bridle was too small. This is allllmost too big but does look really nice on her. The leather does crack right away so I conidtioned it right away and it's much more supple. Great buy overall for the price!

I needed a good quality bridle for school and for showing my little rescue pony Pickles. The bridle looks and fits absolutely perfectly on her. It is not as bulky as some of the other hunter bridles, especially on a dainty pony she needed something simple and cute! We certainly got it! This bridle is perfect for hacking your horse around and even some hunter classes, the perfect all-around bridle. The leather remains soft and supple with monthly conditionings. I love this bridle for my pony and it looks good with any size horse with a more defined and dainty face!

Rated 1 out of 5 by SeberS from Poor quality I bought this bridle a few weeks ago and on the first ride the leather on the noseband already cracked. I have older bridles from this brand and love them so thought I’d try it. Very disappointed in the quality of this bridle would not recommend.

I needed a bridle without a monocrown to stick a hackamore on, and I have had success with the Plymouth line of bridles a couple years ago, so I figured I would give it another shot. Unfortunately, the leather quality has really taken a plummet. Despite soaking the pieces of this bridle, it is still quite stiff. The browband and the noseband are lacquered leather on both sides, so they will never absorb oil and soften up. Thankfully, I do not need the noseband. It is quite a nice chocolate brown, but I wouldn't recommend this bridle for someone looking for something on the cheaper end.

It’s to the point that I think it’s uncomfortable for my horse because it’s so stiff. I’d already oiled it so I’m stuck with it. Maybe I can sell it in the barn tack sale.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Freckles from Its Okay.. I bought this a few months ago for a local show, I liked how cheap it was, but I wish I just got a more expensive bridle. It cracks a lot, it is impossible to stiff after oiling, conditioning, and tack cleaning every week. It rubs on my horse's bones below its ears, even when they are clean. And it seems uncomfortable and cheaply put together. The leather is also very cheap. I appreciate Smartpak making an affordable bridle for people that don't have much!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Neen from Fine for schooling Purchased this about a month ago and it was pretty stiff, even after cleaning and conditioning it a few times. Very inexpensive but you get what you pay for. I use this about 3-5 times per week and the noseband (where the holes are punched) was pretty cracked even after using it twice or so. I’m hoping to get as much life as possible out of it and have been cleaning it after every use. Will probably have to buy a better quality (more expensive) one in a month or two

It arrived on the exact date that they promised and I was impressed. I needed it in time for my Show and I was in a tight crunch. The leather is stiff, yes, but it worked well with a bit of oil and conditioner. It is amazing quality for the price and super easy to put together and take apart to clean. It rid super well, the reins are awesome and look awesome! Awesome job Smartpak, once again you hit the nail on the head!
