Nice and warm!
They are nice weight and warm. Soft inside. They do slide down if I put my phone in side pocket but have found if I have a shirt tucked in they do not slide as much. Would definitely purchase again and a size smaller.

Way too big.
I was really looking forward to these because our winters are very cold in the northern rockies. They were very comfortable when I put them on but when I rode (paddock boots and half chaps) they rode up OVER my knees. Since I have worn them, I won't return them.

Fit is different in every color
I took other reviewers' advice and went one size down. I ordered the tights in gray first, and must have gotten lucky because they stretched out perfectly after a couple wears and stay up, as long as I pull them halfway up my calf. (They're pretty short.) After that success I ordered a second pair in black, but they were falling down immediately when I tried them on, so I returned them. I then tried navy and they never stretched out. I don't get why every color is a little different, but that's my experience with them. (Thank you SmartPak for your wonderful return policy on sized items!) But if they stay on properly, they're SO cozy and warm down to about high 20 degrees for me - any colder and I need to wear pants that allow for a baselayer underneath. I also love having the phone pocket, although it is in a weird spot to access while riding.

All the other reviews are correct
These tights DO NOT STAY UP. I wanted to love them. I really, really wanted to love them because they’re incredibly warm and the fabric somehow doesn’t allow anything stick to it. However. I tried these tights in two sizes to make sure i was certain of my opinion. These tights might be the one thing I truly hate in my long, lonnnnng love affair with all things SmartPak. It’s almost comical how these tights don’t stay up unless you’re standing perfectly still at all times. I couldn’t wait to take them off, even after i was simply walking around in the barn feeding and bringing horses in. I can’t imagine trying to ride in them! I wanted the other reviews to be wrong about these tights but they aren’t. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy these tights, there is absolutely no way to make them stay on your waist. I’ll be returning them for sure.

I bought these as I wanted a good brand winter tight. They are soft and comfortable with a huge downfall, they literally fall down constantly. Working outside this is not ok. There are no belt loops to wear a belt and I bought my size.
For the price I’d try another brand. I love the tight however am extremely disappointed that I need to pull them up every few steps, it makes them non functional.

There are some great features to these breeches! Really warm, lovely soft brushed fleece lining (even the pockets). Great side pockets that can hold a cell phone. Fits true to size.
But.
The elastic in the waist rolls, so that the waist gaps. These are supposed to be high waisted, and they keep sliding down, and that means taking off your gloves to keep pulling them up.
Either they need to add belt loops so you can force them to stay up, or put decent elastic in the waist so the elastic does its job.

Very cozy, but.....
I had hoped that the reviews were not as correct as they turned out to be for me. Unfortunately these breeches do slide down .... too far. The fit was great - until I started walking around -- as in grooming, tacking up, walking to where I was going to mount -- and then they kept sliding down and pulling on my pelvis( which in turn hurts my back) and I had to hike them up every couple of minutes. So these are not for me.

Good material, terrible fit
These pants do not stay in place. They slide down as soon as you start to move. I have tried to like them, however, every time I wear them I am disappointed and end up having to change.
