Love these boots
Love these boots. They have held up really well for an amateur riding one horse 5 days/week. Broke in nicely and leather quality is great/low maintenance.

Mixed feelings.
These boots are STUNNING. Absolutely stunning. I have been wearing Ariats for over a decade and I am a 9.5/full/tall pretty consistently. I do tend to fluctuate between regular and full in the ariats depending on how motivated I am for hot girl summer vs not. If my memory serves me right, my calf is just shy 15.5.”
Anyway. These boots. The foot runs long and narrow. When I was fitted, they told me I was a 41(10) and I’d need a wide calf. They didn’t have that size in a tall, so I ended up just leaving without any boots because I’m hard to fit and nothing else felt right. My plan was to buy some from SmartPak since their returns are so good BUT I had a neighbor who was selling a brand new pair of these in a 40(size 9) with a regular calf in tall height. They fit PERFECT! The gusset is versatile enough where I can do hot girl summer AND Christmas pounds in the same boot without compromising how the boot looks. They are not as comfortable as ariats (but what boot is?!) but honestly didn’t need more than a small handful of rides to feel broken in and never rubbed or left me blisters.
Biggest con is the footbed. Again, it’s long and narrow. I still have room in the foot in their 9’s even though I’m at least a 9.5 in every other boot or shoe. I don’t have wide feet, so these work for me but I suspect a wider foot would not be as comfortable. Due to the footbed, it took me a little bit to get used to them since they actually felt a bit long. The height though is perfect in tall (I’m 19”+) and I’m 5’6” while the tall was not tall enough for the girl I bought them from who is 5’8.”
Overall, beautiful boots if you are the right shape for them! Pair nicely with brown accessories or navy.

These boots beat my expectations. They fit like a glove. The foot does run big so I sized down after originally ordering my normal size. The first time I wore them I had them on for 6 hours and no blisters or hurting feet. Highly recommend these boots.

Good except…
These boots are beautiful, but I measured exactly and used the sizing chart, anticipating the leather to stretch and drop (I’ve had several pairs of tall boots over the years and I have my measurements and breaking them in down to a science) and these boots dropped significantly more than any other pair I’ve had, leaving me with tall boots I can barely ride in due to the inside of my calf rubbing raw. The overall quality of the boots is good— but I’m left with a gorgeous pair of boots I can’t use/wear! So if you’re buying, I recommend ordering a size taller than typically needed so the drop will fit!

Beautiful boots.
These boots really are gorgeous and I was super happy with the look when I took them out of the box. I bought a 7 even though I regularly wear a 7.5 and the foot fits well. They were hard to zip the first few times but after two hour-long rides they now zip easily and are comfortable. I recommend them!

Very large but stunning!
These boots are absolutely beautiful! I ordered an 8, I am always and 8 in Ariat and all shows. These were about 2-3 inches longer than any other 8 shoe. Returned for a 7.

My favorite boots!
At 5’9” with skinny calves, I tend to have a hard time finding boots that fit me well without breaking the bank. The second I put these on three years ago, they felt like custom boots and broke in like butter. They have held up extremely well for me. I use them all 4 seasons and wear them when grooming, grabbing horses, etc. Cannot recommend these enough!

Beautiful and so comfortable!!
I’ve been looking at these boots for around 2 years now and finally saved up the money to splurge on them! Originally I ordered the 6 regular short boot and the calf was perfect but I could barely fit my foot into the foot part so I returned them and reordered in a 7 regular short which is my usual shoe size and they fit great! Haven’t ridden in them yet but just from trying them on and wearing them around the house, they are super comfortable! I’m never had a tall boot fit this well!!

Beautiful Boot! But...
Beautiful boot and yes, they look custom like another reviewer mentioned. I get complements all the time. My ONLY thing with them is sizing. Order a size down, I wish they had 1/2 sizes. I'm usually a 7, I originally ordered a seven, foot part super long and narrow. Sent back and got a 6. Foot size much better, but I ordered a slim (I'm always a slim calf) and they are crazy tight and a bit tall. I did not order a tall, I never do at 5'4. (Not sure they even come tall.) With that said, the leather is super soft and I'm hoping with more wear they will stretch out just a bit! I think they are worth the wait of being a bit tight because they ARE stunning boots.

Great color and fit!
I absolutely love these boots! I am a hard to fit due to being 5'2 with short calves with really skinny ankles, but these boots solved all my problems! These boots are soft and comfortable with a short break in period and the color is exceptional. I will never buy Ariats again. Anywhere I have worn them I get compliments and people assumed that they were customs. I ride usually 6-7 days per week and multiple horses per day and these have held up beautifully.
