Nice low-profile belt
It is true, as another reviewer says, that the metal adjustment piece on this belt is on backwards, which is very odd and does make adjusting the belt while wearing it a little more difficult than if it were reversed. However, I don’t find this a particularly major flaw, as the belt doesn’t need to be adjusted very often, and I really like this belt, enough that I have it in a few colors. It is kind of like the Un-belt, but the clasp is much more attractive and the material is a bit thicker and more substantial. It lies flat and smooth and as someone with a straighter body shape and, I have come to appreciate the less-bulky waist profile. This is pretty much the only belt I wear now, both for schooling and under show coats!
One thing to note though is that the color descriptions are a little inaccurate - in particular, the “navy” is really quite a bit lighter than true navy.

Manufactured all wrong
I bought this belt because I really needed a low profile belt and I do like the slim profile. However, it is obvious that the belt was manufactured incorrectly. The Kerrits logo is stitched on the inside back of the belt, which is blatantly missing in the stock photo. The metal adjustment piece is also on backwards, which makes it very difficult to adjust while wearing the belt. Initially I thought it was a manufacturing mistake so I called SmartPak and asked to exchange it for another one. SmartPak, by the way, was fabulous! Their customer service was top-notch and they sent me a new belt very quickly, super easy exchange. I don't blame them for Kerrits' shoddy workmanship. Unfortunately, the second belt was the same as the first so I called Kerrits directly. They said that there were no defects and that they meant to have the logo on the inside because they realized that customers did not want the logo showing. This doesn't explain the inside out adjustment piece. My thought is they realized nobody wanted the logo on the outside so they flipped the buckle but failed to think about the adjustment piece. Very disappointed.
