Designed for multi-season use, the Hadley Softshell Longline Riding Jacket is as versatile as it is functional. Its water-and wind-resistant exterior and brushed fleece interior work together to provide protection from the elements without sacrificing comfort. There's even a hidden front skirt if you want to lock in warmth or cover your saddle's pommel when riding – simply bring up the two-way exterior zipper, unsnap the skirt flaps from the interior side seams, and zip up to block out wind. The jacket's front zip, central back gusset, and optional skirt allow for freedom of movement and ultimate mobility in and out of the saddle.
Flattering seaming hits in all the right places ensuring an elegant look while on your horse or around town. Designed with a fitted look, you can layer underneath for added warmth or wear alone. This piece will surely become your new go-to!

No inside phone pocket
Love the coat. Very flattering. I prefer to store my phone in an inside pocket so as not to add bulk to my already curvy hips or overuse on the hip/side zipper since it's more delicate than the super durable front zipper. Just a heads up!

Nice raincoat
Love the length, wore it at a rainy horseshow and it did well. Only downside is weird velcro placement on the sleeves, but I will just fix that myself.

Perfect unless it’s raining!
I have the Hadley trainers coat and LOVE it, but wanted something for those chilly wet days where I would be riding in the rain a bit. For some reason I thought water resistant would help keep me dry- nope! I was soaked through when I rode in the rain the other day. So if you’re looking for a wet-weather riding coat, maybe try Kerrits, but this one is perfect for dry and chilly/windy days when the Hadley down coat is just too warm.

Stylish and functional
I got this jacket for riding but I also wear it everywhere else! It's nice and long so it helps keep my thighs covered and warm, even when in the saddle. The extra fabric pieces on the inside can be zipped up so your coats flaps aren't flapping around when you're riding. I'm not sure how durable it's going to be but I like all the expandable zipper options. It won't bunch up on top of the saddle.

Really like it!
Recently purchased this jacket, and it's already a favorite! Just heavy enough, but can wear it with layers for additional warmth. Fits spot on and surprisingly easy to zip up for a long coat. The snaps inside make it easy to keep the "skirt" portion in order. Purchased in black and would love to have the olive color too!

Good things just keep coming.
when I read some of the other reviews on this jacket, and wondered what the heck they were talking about reguarding the added fabric in the front that they cut out... if they would have taken the time to investigate the zipper attached to the that fabric they would have figured out that while riding there is a problem with the front of any other jacket blowing open and your legs are exposed to what ever weather is going on. But once you zip the inside fabric closed, you now have a jacket that is completely circular covering your legs and saddle.
the shell of the jacket is wonderful too. Very nice and wind and water proof. I know that I am going to love wearing this jacket as soon as the poor weather sets in here in SoCal. The size is true.

I’ve been searching for a replacement for my favorite Asmar jacket because the company changed their sizing. This jacket is perfect - the waist hits in the perfect place, soft inside, and fits like a dream. I usually wear an XXL/38 and the XL fits me with room for a sweatshirt underneath

Lovely riding coat
The coat its self is wonderful and fits well but the strange front skirt inside the coat is awful. The thing in the front makes a woman look like she has a package! Returning because I dont want to pay someone to alter the coat and cut out the front strange skirt otherwise I would have kept the coat.
