Fits breeches in Sahara
Fits is one of the few. companies that makes full seat breeches in leather which my trainer recommends for me. I have multiply pairs for winter to summer. The newest ones that I purchased have a front zipper which is easier to put on compared to pull on. I like the burgundy tone, but found either due to the color and fabric weight the Sahara fabric is too thin for the color and revealing. It’s almost see-thru, and I don’t wish to wear another undergarment to correct this.

Brilliant Design, Shoddy Workmanship
I’ve owned four pairs of Fits PerforMax Breeches over the past five years. I have both the pull in style and the zip up. The seat design, with the separated gripping patches, and the deerskin combine to provide the best grip I’ve ever had. They make dressage and jumping more secure in the seat.
However, the quality of these breeches has never been great and it’s gone down in recent years. The seams are sewn poorly, so that they start to come apart in the crotch. I’ve had two pairs with fairly light wear develop a hole in the crotch. I had another pair that where the eslastic starting fraying out of the fabric in the seat. I researched this type of fabric failure quite a bit and was confident it was a materials issue. The pants weren’t super tight and the fraying happened in the seat, where they get the most friction. I contacted Fits and they had the nerve to insinuate that it wasn’t a quality issue, but rather I needed to size up. Let me tell you, it was a materials issues, not a fit issue, and I had the photos to prove it. There was NO accountability or customer service. That is totally unacceptable for a product this expensive.
After that experience, I was never going to do business with Fits again. After a year or so, I did order another pair and the “deerskin” was completely different and much lower quality. Gone is the soft, supple, grippy leather they used to use.
So, my conclusion is that this is a brilliant product, but there is a grabby, cut-corners, bad customer service company behind it. Therefore, I would not recommend these breeches or any Fits product, for that matter.

I wanted to love them
I am a die-hard FITS fan. I have about 8-10 pairs and size medium is a perfect fit. I had ordered the mediums in white in the past and saw right away, they were too small. I finally ordered a large. Too see through even though the fit was ok. Since I had to order a Large, there was too much length between my belly button and crotch so the crotch was sagging...not a good feeling. Had to return and got a pair of Tailored Sportsman. I wish FITS could improve their white breech. The older ones were better, I have the ribbed white ones from about 5 years ago and the old reviews on the white were better than the past 6 months.

Very disappointed
These breeches came highly recommended by customer service when I had to call and return the last pair of white breeches I purchased. I do believe that I made myself very clear on what features I was looking for in a breech. These were not only a huge disappointment as far as fit but the quality was extremely lacking for the price!

Nice!
These are soft and very stretchy, flexible breeches. I have never spent so much on breeches, but I am glad I have these, especially for hot summer shows. They are quite see through, however, so I recommend the longer undies made for breeches. (Which kind of defeats the purpose of the breathable fabric.) Still, very, very nice breeches, and definitely my favorite pair for showing. They are high waisted, and they wash up well with a little Woolite on delicate. Air dry.

Love these Breeches
I love these breeches. They are so comfortable and fit perfect! I was also very happy with how they wash. Sometime with white pants they get dirty and that is it they are dingy forever, not these! They look just as good as they did the first time I have worn them.
