I was skeptical at first sight of this curry brush since it’s so different from more traditional curry combs, and I’m so glad I gave it a try! It’s my favorite brush to use after riding as it loosens up any sweat marks and helps speed up the drying process on my horse’s coat. It fits comfortably in my hand, and my sensitive TB almost instantly starts to relax as soon as I begin grooming him with this curry. I have found the long wood bristles to be able to get deeper into my horse’s coat than other currys, which is especially helpful in the dead of winter with the fuzzy coat my horse grows. This curry is now part of almost every grooming session!

It must make him feel good, by the way he responds. I liked it so much I bought one for a my trainer. I was disappointed that the pegs fell out of it this spring. That's why I ordered another one.

When the brush arrived I was concerned that the ends of the bristles were too sharp. I tried the brush on my cat first and he seemed to enjoy it. When I tried it out on my gelding he immediately turned his rear towards me and backed up, indicating where to brush. So, he gave it his stamp of approval. When I get this brush out, my mare and gelding now try to push each other out of the way to be groomed. They especially love it during the months where they are itchier than normal. The brush is comfortable to hold and the bristles are easy to clean. I recommend adding this brush to your grooming kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Culver from Good for Cushings I bought this for my Morgan who has yak-like Cushing’s ‘wool’ on parts of his body. I love that the teeth really floof up his hair, instead of just mushing his hair around like the rubber curries. I can see the fine dander coming up out of the hair, and it’s a bonus I can brush his dock and yak leg fur too. Also, my mare who thinks grooming is stupid, doesn’t hate the flexible teeth when I kinda run the brush over her body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2abookworm from Had to buy a second for the dogs My horses love this curry, it gets all their itchy spots and really helps to shed out my fluffy pony. But the biggest fans have to be my dogs. I have long hair cavaliers and used it on them with great success. It brushes through their knots easily and is extremely gentle. My sensitive dog truly enjoys this curry and looks forward to nightly brushing from it. I would 100% recommend this to everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cal K from Great tool! My horse is always itchy and LOVES being groomed. Got this in the hopes that it would get deeper than regular curries and it does! He absolutely loves it. I have never seen a horse so blissed out from grooming. It doesn't go as well with my more thin skinned Thoroughbred though - it's a little too rough for more sensitive horses. Do wish the back was a little bigger or had a rubber coating or something - it can be a little tricky to hold on to.
