Not for narrow, flat feet or overpronation
These seem well made. But unfortunately they have just wayyy too much room in the foot and front of the ankle for someone who has flat, narrow, unstable feet. I find this to be the case with many of Ariat’s more work type boots. These made my overpronation even more pronounced, which I know would cause pain to walk in them.

new paddock boots
I have been wearing Ariat for decades. These new boots were very appealing. Normally I have worn a size 10. This style the 10 was huge, tried 9.5 and still too big. Now have the 9 and it fits with room to spare.

Very pleasantly surprised !
My last few Ariat footwear purchases have been disappointing ( after many years of wearing their shoes and boots, recent changes in fit/styles had me looking elsewhere. These were suggested to me by my favorite Smartpak rep, Caroline, and I'm quite happy with them. Very comfortable for all-day barn work (over 28,000 steps yesterday, but who's counting?) , no sore feet at the end of the day! As a straight-up riding boot, one might want something more fitted and support through the ankle, but for all day wear and casual riding, I am very happy with these. They run a little bit large, with a roomier footbed than most Ariats, so if you're between sizes, you may want to try the smaller option.

Ariat does not disappoint.
I got these so I could retire my old zip up Terrains. Happy with look, fit and quality. Very comfortable!

Great Garden Boot
These are real workboots...heavy duty. They are true to size although I usually get a half size larger to allow for thick socks. These are for gardening in summer so I opted for my regular size 7 and thin socks. I switched out the footbed insert with a shearling liner which makes the boot feel cozy. They are not only perfect for gardening chores and dog walking in the wet grass but are fine for doing errands. We have two manual transmission vehicles and boots that are too bulky make shifting a challenge. Not a problem with these. What I really like is that they are not dirt or gravel eaters so when I come inside I don't bring the outdoors in like my other boots. My only concern is that the pull tabs are a bit whimpy

Best Boots!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my new favorite paddock boots. They are soooo easy to slip on, waterproof and extra comfortable. They run a teensy bit large, but I wouldn't recommend down sizing - room for socks and roomy enough for more comfort. I will be buying a 2nd pair soon, to rotate my boots since I wear them to the barn 5 days a week. They're my favorite because there's no zipper or tying laces. Perfect!

Buy the boots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great upgrade from my terrain lace up! These boots last awhile and have the versatility to go from chores to the saddle. Love that it's now a pull on as well!

Very comfortable
Compared to my lace-up Ariat paddock boots that I always used to wear, these have a more comfortable sole and have a much wider toe box. I was worried about them feeling bulky, but that has not been the case. I love how easy they are to get on and off. So far so good!
