Not great.
Not great. Calling them breeches is a stretch, they're tights. If I run into a pricker out riding these will definitley be snagged. Completely inconsistent sizing - I got 2 of the same size, one fits ok, one just about suffocates me. They are stylish. I wish they were better made. Sticking with pipers. I would say they overall run small, except in the calves.

Great, except for one thing...
These are wonderful for hot weather and the fabric is super comfortable. BUT, if you carry any sort of extra weight in the tummy area, prepare for weird bagging in the front, which does not look good. I almost returned them due to the weird crotch/tummy area but they performed so well in hot weather that I will just wear long shirts to hide this.

Great fit, but stain easily
I replaced all my TS mid rise breeches with tri-factors for showing, and they are so much lighter and more comfortable for long hot days. However, I wore them to show in the pouring rain, and they are so stained from my saddle that no amount of soaking, pre-treating, or stain solution can save them. Incredibly disappointing for still expensive breeches. Will have to look for other options.

My go to breech!
I bought these breeches probably about a year ago now, and they are in the same condition as when I bought them being used at least twice a week! I did have to size up and with that, they fit beautifully. I cannot recommend them enough!

Amazing breeches!
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I think they are my new favorite pair! I have always been a tailored sportsman fan but with their prices rising I just couldn’t justify getting another pair. These turned out even better than I expected. The material is soft and doesn’t pull and I love the silicone on the knees. The sizing is interesting. I am a 28TS but I sized up to a 30 after reading other reviews. I think I could’ve gotten away with the 28 but they would’ve been snug on the thigh area making them feel more like a legging/tights fit. I would recommend sizing up in general though as the waist band doesn’t have a lot of stretch to it.

Finally.... A Great fit!
Have searched and searched for breeches that really fit & finally found them!. I’m 5’4 & 130 lbs - wear a size 30. Seems like most brands ( and I have tried many) only design the leg for tall gals. Call me picky, but I hate breech sock legs that are too long or wide & bunch under my boots when everything else fits. These Ariats fit great in every respect! Love the fabric & style, too. They’re definitely a winner!

Super flattering
The fit of these is super flattering, and your shirt will actually stay tucked in because the waist comes up high enough (it seems kind of contoured, too). The fabric also resists fur and stains. Last, I used the measuring chart and was a solid 24 with a little room to spare (which is how I like mine to fit, so I'm saying true to size). If you like your breeches REALLY tight you may want to size down.
