Rated 4 out of 5 by Tillie from Good feature. I bought my smart pak two months ago. I have to board my horse at a friends barn. This makes it easier for her to give the vitamin B. She doesn’t have to stop and figure out how much to give her. I have to stop getting it for now. We found out that there is something else going on with Tillie. so I need to stop getting it for now.

It is fairly economical and has more Thiamine per dose than many other brands. My plan is to do another bucket since my mare eats it well enough but I was hoping to see even a small positive change.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Allie from not a huge difference I have a 15/16 year old mare that has clearly had some sort of emotional trauma in her life that I wasn't aware of when she came to me... she is sweet and super easy to be around but she has certain triggers that set her off and she doesn't come back down for a bit. I was hoping a supplement like this would help take the edge off of her anxiety, however after two and a half months (ish) i just am not seeing a huge difference. Some days i feel like it helps and some days i don't feel a difference at all. I don't want to put her on a "calming" supplement because over all she is calm, so i don't want her to seem drugged. I just want her to be comfortable and not anxious when certain variables are added into her routine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by greyjumper9 from Effective and cheap My horse has been on this for a couple of months now, since I wanted to give it a fair shot. I have definitely noticed improvement in his spookiness since he's been on this. It hasn't eliminated his spook entirely, which I wasn't expecting it to as I feel that is just a part of his personality, but he is much more chill about things now. Still looks at things and some stuff still gets a spook out of him but nothing like he had been doing (drop and spin) so I'm pretty happy with this. I'll keep him on it for the time being, and maybe he'll even show more improvement with more time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FoxyAndCo from Helps with mental stability My horse always referred to as being hot, but over the last year I found that she's just very reactive, and getting her to settle her overworked mind was a challenge. She was reactive and flighty when anxious, even though she's quite bombproof. Since starting her on this supplement I've noticed she's not as quick to panic as she would otherwise. She stops and thinks when faced with something nerve-wracking, as opposed to scooting, snorting, and jigging when anxious, as she used to do. When I first added it to the smartpak I had some anticipation of more calming effects, but I've found it helps with her mentality more than anything. She isn't any calmer than before, but she's starting to take the time to process things, instead of immediately reacting with high energy when it's usually unnecessary.

My mare was never overly hot or silly but times a little anxious on the ground at new places which concerned me having two young kids (2 and 6)wanting to help out so we started her on this. I hadnt noticed much of a difference until yesterday because we took her off the farm the first time since October to a new place for a 2 week tune up and she was FANTASTIC. stood quietly and the new area didnt phase her at all. We got word this morning that she was great all night and really quiet. Really like b1 and encourage others to try it if you just want to help calm your horse without making them dopey

The wells were never totally full, but I was willing to look past it. This month was ridiculous. There was barely anything inside. Save your money and buy something else!
