Developed for horses with sweating or metabolic challenges
MetaSweat™ from Perfect Products is designed to support healthy sweat production, adrenal function, thyroid function, pituitary function, sugar metabolism and insulin function. The proprietary formula addresses anhidrosis, the inability or reduced capacity to sweat, via the sympathetic nervous system and the pituitary and thyroid glands. Horses with sweating challenges cannot regulate their body temperature normally and are at higher risk of overheating. MetaSweat™ may also be beneficial for horses who exhibit insulin resistance, as the same mechanism that impacts anhidrosis also increases sensitivity to the insulin that is naturally produced in the pancreas. Didn't Work
My horse has suffered from anhidrosis for the last four years. I live in the Phoenix AZ area, and he sweats fine in the winter, but once the summer kicks up in July he completely stops sweating, and loses the hair around his eyes, which is a hallmark anhidrosis sign. I've had him tested for Cushings twice to verify it's not complicated by anything else. I say all that because so many people I know have claimed X supplement worked for the anhidrotic horse that it almost makes me question if their horse was actually anhidrotic, because nothing has ever worked for mine, including now this one. At least most of them didn't cost the godawful amount this one did, but if you have an anhidrotic horse, you're desperate for anything that will help them and I feel like these companies prey on that. I was hopeful for this one because it claimed to help with insulin resistance, and my horse is a mustang and they are prone to metabolic issues, but it didn't do a single thing for him. Anyway, I guess I can now add MetaSweat to the list of OneAC, LetMSweat, MegaSweat, SweatAgain, SweatWell, and EquiWinner patches (yes, I'm embarrassed I even tried them) that don't work.

Unfortunately didn’t work
Sadly I am on the 2nd bag and still on a loading dose and no sweat. I was so hopeful this would work but he’s completely dry with zero sweat. This is the most frustrating ailment to deal with . So why some supplements may work great for some others it dosnt. So tricky to figure out what works. This is a great company but unfortunately this supplement didn’t work for my guy.

Worked on 2 Horses in my barn QUICKLY!
I have two different horses that weren’t sweating on a one ac and vitamin e combo, their owners decided to try this and I didn’t think it would work as it has totally different ingredients than any other supplements I’ve used (being a barn owner in South FL I’ve used plenty Mega sweat, equine total gold, let m sweat, cool sweat, beer at some points to name a few over the years). One has Cushings one does not and this worked we did start the one on it in spring. I would highly recommend this if you’ve tried a bunch and are ready to go the veterinary route as I know it’s expensive.

Actually Works!!
I bought a five-year-old tb x wb and he would not sweat at all. I tried everything from beer to acupuncture. Nothing worked and then I put him on meta sweat and he started sweating. He has continued sweating ever since. It also helps to keep him at a healthy weight as he tends to put on weight very easily. Best supplement I have ever given a horse.

My horse wouldn’t touch it
No matter what I have tried mixing in with this, wetting, even straight molasses, she won’t touch it. And she is NOT a picky eater.
