Ker-A-Form™ is a scientifically formulated coat and hoof supplement that is named after one of the tissues it was developed to nourish: “keratin.” Keratin is the fibrous protein that forms the main structural component of hair and hooves. Without healthy keratin, hooves and hair grow slowly and become dull, dry, and brittle. The combination of nutrients found in Ker-A-Form support keratin as well as multiple other components that make up healthy skin, hair, and hooves.

First, Ker-A-Form includes both full-fat soybean meal and lecithin. Full-fat soybeans are abundant in amino acids and contain the greatest amount of lysine of any plant-source protein. Both soybeans and lecithin provide omega 3 fatty acids, which help maintain elastic skin and slick, glossy coats. Next, it provides biotin, a B-vitamin that is essential for the maintenance of connective tissue found in skin, hooves, and hair. In addition, research studies show that biotin is needed to support healthy hoof growth. Ker-A-Form also provides zinc, a trace mineral integral to hoof and hair strength; methionine, an amino acid necessary for proper hoof growth; and iodine, which supports the optimal health of hair and hooves. Finally, it contains yeast cultures, which help horses maintain a healthy digestive tract and support the digestibility of nutrients.

Both horses have a much better hoof horn quality than before, it is tougher and has been chipping much less. Both horses seem to like the taste of the product, and I mix it in a little beet pulp for them. Their coats are shiny too.

I’d been very happy with their Vitamin E and they recommended I try this to replace my past hoof supplement. I could not be happier and continue to recommend this product along with many others from the company to clients and other professionals. Price is just a bonus for the results Ive been seeing.

The hooves are still too early to tell but the coat on my horse is stunning. It seems to be a very high quality product, and now that I can finally take my horse's sheet off, she looks like a million bucks! She is also a picky eater and there is never any product left in her bucket.
