Biotin 800 is a palatable extra-strength biotin supplement formulated to optimize the general condition of hooves, skin, and hair coat in horses. Biotin 800 provides a source of d-Biotin, yucca schidigera, d-calcium pantothenate, and dl-methionine in a tasty base of wheat middlings, alfalfa meal, yeast culture, molasses flavoring, and corn distillers grain with solubles.

Decent Supplement for a Reasonable Cost
I put my very flat footed and thin souled appendix on this when he had a really bad crack in his hoof (went from his coronary band to bottom of hoof). This supplement helped grow out the crack and provided better structure to his hoof walls. He was notorious for pulling shoes and now has managed to keep them on for multiple cycles. It's been 8 months and I have seen improvement. It does take some time for the effects to show.

Good source of biotin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a supplement to provide 20+ mg of biotin per day to my horses to improve their hooves and settled on this Biotin 800. They have been on it for about 2 months now and things are improving already. I am expecting to wait another 6-10 months to see the results after the whole hoof grows out, but I'm pleased so far.

Seems to be working
Bought this to help my mare grow better feet based on a friend’s recommendation. It was also the most economical solution — a half scoop provides 25mg of biotin. Her feet are growing in great and as an added bonus her mane and tail are getting thicker too!

Good supplement
I’ve been buying this for my horses for several months now, but recently switched to the biggest tub. This supplement is great maintenance for both my horses who have nit so great hooves.

Seeing healthy hoof growth!
This supplement is working great for my gelding, he had to have a surgery on his hind hoof and my vet recommended I use Biotin, so I choose Spartpak. I have healthy hoof growth in only 2 weeks, not to mention a thicker tail which was a bonus!!!!

Cheap, works, and the horse eats it!
I did some research on what biotin supplement would be cheapest for the most amount of biotin... this is it for me. My horse would get cracks (especially weeks 6-7-8 before his trim) and between the biotin and a hoof dress, no more cracks! Hooves seem healthier and my boy eats it right up.

Before and After
2 1/2 months ago my horse got Vesticular Stomatitis, it came out his hoof. He was 3 legged lame in the beginning. I've had him on the Biotin 6 weeks. To be honest, I really don't know how much the Biotin helped because of the time line, but It sure couldn't have hurt and I will continue to keep him on it. Regardless he is 99% better and is alive. Just thought I would share.
