Many good things--one serious design flaw
I really like my other tough one easy breathe muzzle. There are things I like about this one: 1) the padding, 2) I'm sure it's as tough as my other one, 3) the more breathability. That said, when designing something to be used on a horse in an outside environment, velcro closures are less than ideal. Today, it's fine. In a month, the velcro will be useless because it will be clogged with dirt, grass, hair, etc. Also, it's harder to get this off and on my horse. I'll be lucky if my husband doesn't cut off one side of the velcro sandwich--because, for some reason, he is not able to understand this closure style.

Needs a snap
The basket circumference is small for a truly large horse. The large fits my 16.1 H warmblood, so it may be tight on a drafty head. I love the padding and wish the other Easy Breathe muzzle had it. The extra strapping to help stabilize is a great idea. I only gave it 3 stars because it only has Velcro opening and no snap to make it easy to get on and off. At a busy boarding facility, they need easy!

“Oversize” is way too small
I ordered the largest size available, but the basket of this muzzle is still way too small for our horses, and has caused terrible rub spots under their chins and around their nostrils. In addition, the straps that go across the nose are too short for the perch/ tb, and caused rub spots on our Morgan’s face, so we cut them off.
If your horse has a larger head, spare them some pain and choose something else instead.

Dimensions are wrong
This just came in today. I had the Shires comfort muzzle before and loved it but it did get gross with the fleece and my horrible pony ripped the bottom out. Ordered this one because it looks like it would stay on and be easy to clean. The dimensions are HORRIBLE. It’s too small in the crown and huge everywhere else. It’s ridiculous. I HATE it. Why is it sitting right below her eyes and one face scratch away from falling off? Awful design plan. I wanted a thin line but they were not available so I ordered this thinking it was secure and comfortable. I can’t return it because it got dirty trying to adjust it on my pony. It doesn’t even sit in a place that would allow her to snip any grass and graze. I would never order this again. So disappointing.

Basket too narrow- rubs nostrils and chin
In theory, this would be a good design, but even the "oversize" version of this muzzle causes bad rubs on my tb/ perch cross (nostrils and chin). For being part draft, he doesn't have a very wide nose, so if you're shopping for a draft breed, this muzzle likely won't fit. In addition, I had to cut off the straps that go diagonally across the nose because they were too short, and they also caused rub spots. FYI: does fit my smaller horse (16.2 cbsh), but it also rubs his chin and his nostrils.

Grazing Muzzle
I really like the Easy Breath V Muzzle for its durability and the way it seems to stay put. The newest model I am not completely happy with. While I love the additional padding, I am not happy with the removal of the check strap clip being replaced with more velcro. I much preferred the clip for east of application. Many horses react to velcro when it is separated. Also velcro gets filled with hay, grass and dirt when a horse rolls and routinely needs cleaning out.

Almost, but not quite.
My horse has had sand colic, and he wears a muzzle year round when in turnout. I’ve trialed almost everything out there. This did not work for my horse as I could not set it up adequately to keep it from coming off his head. I agree with one other reviewer that it would be nice if the throat latch was exactly that and not placed over the jaw (masseter area) instead. I ordered the separate muzzle and used my own halter with good success. I actually like this better than the Best Friend muzzle, which is a very good product. That said, the all-in-one product with the halter attached may work for your horse, especially if he has a more delicate head than my boy.

Nice padding
This is a more luxurious version of a mask I've purchased/used in the past. I like the extra padding and so far haven't had to add much extra to avoid rubbing. In the past I've always had to use duct tape on the muzzle to avoid nose rubs but so far so good. The only thing I don't like is there's a velcro attachment for both the throatlatch and the headpiece. Over time that velcro is going to die and then the muzzle won't stay done up anymore. The hole is a small enough size to reduce intake significantly.

Fits Great But
I bought this for my foundered mare so she could be on the grass paddocks with the other horses. I love how it fit and how adjustable everything is however the Velcro to get it on and off was a horrible design. Not only does it wear in 10 uses but it also makes it super easy for others to pull it off. I’m sewing mine with a clip so that I can still use it however I wouldn’t recommend this product overall
