Good but runs small
I bought this a few months ago and it has held up amazingly. However ordering the girth you need to order at least a size up if not two. Very nice stitching as well

Love the Idea, But it's Not Quite Right
I have the western version of this girth so I thought I'd try the English one. It's really nice looking and feels like quality leather. I immediately had to order up size-wise to make it even try to fit my horse. Even after going up in size, on the loosest hole on both sides, it's all I could do to make it fit (my horse normally wears a 52). Despite being super tight up by the saddle, it still seems very loose on the sides yet somehow cutting in under his belly and my saddle immediately slipped back just walking out to the arena. I had to reposition every time and start my ride on the loosest hole and just hope it stayed. I'm hoping as it breaks in it'll fit better, but I'm not very impressed.

Amazing girth!
I bought this girth for my horse who has a very high wither and needs a more forward girth placement for the saddle to stay put. He is SUPER picky about tack, especially anything that is not fuzzy/soft, but he seems to be liking this one. Since it's leather, I don't have to keep adjusting it during our ride and my saddle doesn't slide all over the place. I really like that it's wide and it was super easy to break in. I'm excited to keep riding in it.
Some of the other reviews said that it runs a bit small. I would disagree, my horse is a standard 54" and that is what worked here. PRO tip: Horseman's one-step softened it right up and has kept it in beautiful condition.

Not Perfect but I Use Exclusively Anyway
Overall, the contour of the girth is not perfect. I personally believe it is too narrow in its central contour, it needs to start 2 to 3 inches more towards the buckle on both sides to accommodate the shape of the horses barrel, and I also believe it needs at least an extra inch or two on the forward set portion. However, it's equal in contour to other available products on the market and about half the cost so value wise it is pretty high. Additionally, I am a fan of less elastic, more stiff type girths as it reduces the pressure points just under the saddle flap at the billet attachment. If the contour were adjusted I believe the pressure would be much more uniform but overall I am pleased with the product. The outside of the girth is a synthetic material, smooth and easy to wipe down, which at first I was annoyed with but actually have become quite fond of. Color does fade, show wear, etc. in some areas but I've had this girth for about 4 years now and I consider that an excellent shelf life.
For a forward girth grove horse your options are this girth or have your billets replaced and angled forward for your horse's exact conformation (this will probably run you around $200+).
When Stubben releases a jump version of the Equisoft girth I will have my billets adjusted and switch to that. Until then I exclusively use this girth.

Well made - does what it’s supposed to
Have ridden with the girth for about three weeks now - bought it after my horse was rubbed on both sides by the prior girth while competing. Love how it doesn’t go anywhere near her damaged sensitive skin - can see myself using this girth for many years

Great quality and a product that works
This is my second TSF girth. At first it seems a little stiff, but the horses whose bodies need this girth style really seem to appreciate that their saddles stay put! Thank you for making this girth available.

Poor quality leather
I've had this girth for about 5 years, I bought directly from manufacturer. I've kept it clean and oiled, always wiped it with a wet cloth immediately after summer rides to get the sweat off. It had no signs of cracking, bit yesterday I took it off and it was split! I have no idea why. I've contacted the manufacturer and have not heard back. It was a good fit and did go the saddle position but I can't recommend something that splits apart for no good reason at all.

Way Too Stiff
I own a dressage TSF girth, so I knew they could be thick and stiff, poorly conforming to the barrel, but it's not bad and with some warm up the dressage girth softens and I can tighten it and it lies flush and comfortable.
Unfortunately, the added length of the jumping girth means even more stiff leather. When tightened, the girth made contact under my horse's sternum but still had large visible gaps over his sides/ribs into which I could slide my hand, but I could not tighten another hole without causing my horse major discomfort, as it tightened over his sternum but refused to soften to spread the pressure over his ribs too. I could, after some warm up get it to settle and conform a little better and then I could slowly tighten it and it would lie flat and disperse the pressure better, but I tacked up twice in it, and the second time I girthed it up my horse made sure to let me know he was not happy with the pressure points it caused. I whipped it off and went back to his old $40 straight jumping girth.

Well-thought-out product
Very nice girth in terms of quality of workmanship and materials. I like that it has D rings for side reins as well as a lager central D for a breast collar or martingale. I little pricey. I cannot really rate durability as I have only had this for a few weeks.

As described
We both love the padding and it cleans up nicely. I have only used it twice, if I follow through and clean it regularly it should hold up well.
