Not the best fit, needs belly strap
Overall good quality. I just have two small issues: 1) There's no belly strap. Even just a loop on the top so I could add my own strap would be nice. As it is, I can't even leave it on as a stable blanket because there is nothing to keep it secure on its own. I've been using it as a liner, but unfortunately someone else put it on my horse and forgot to do the back clips. The liner slid completely off my horse's back, still attached at the neck, and tangled around his feet. So he had no warmth, just a tripping hazard. Very dangerous. And the expensive blanket liner was largely destroyed in a few hours.
2) The neck hole doesn't fit the best. It gets very tight across the chest and there is no give to the fabric at all. Feels like it is really digging and would be pretty uncomfortable.

Warm and fits great!
I have only used this a few times so I can’t comment on longevity yet but this has been a super help for my older mare that gets cold easily. I felt really bad about coming home late the other day because it was over 60F when we left the house but a cold front came through and was dropping to 32 that night. I turned her out “neked” and by the time I got back she was shivering so bad. I popped this on under a medium turnout and she warmed up SO much faster. Stopped shivering in minutes and when I put my hand underneath I was impressed how warm it already was. Sometimes she is stiff in the mornings and it could be me reading more into it but she seemed more limber headed out the next morning also. She is 14.3hh and very stocky (halter bred QH). Fits very well. The drop is shorter compared to my other blankets but since it’s the liner, I’d rather it not peek out from underneath but covered her body though and ran true to size where as her smart therapy mesh sheet I feel ran a touch large. I turned her out to pasture with it under the rockin SP ultimate turnout and despite running and bucking, it stayed on and didn’t shift. I like that it clips to the blanket where the leg straps go versus having its own leg straps because it is less bulky that way.

Tight fit in the shoulders
I have this in my horse's normal size of 75 and it runs a very tight through the shoulders and a bit short through the drop from top to bottom. My horse is narrow and does not normally have issues with blankets being tight - all his blankets are on the tightest hole for the chest buckles. The lining over the shoulders is a jersey material, which has caused rubs on my horse. I'm likely returning it due to the material and fit at the shoulders, which is disappointing as I've been very happy with my other SmartTherapy purchases (mesh sheet and saddle pads.)
