The SmartPak Ultimate Combo Neck Turnout Sheet features an attached neck cover that provides our most complete coverage and reduces pressure on the withers. It’s also our toughest waterproof sheet yet with a 1050D ballistic nylon outer that resists rubs and tears, making it the ideal choice for a horse that is tough on blankets. Plus, it’s also waterproof and breathable to keep your horse warm and dry and has a nylon lining for maximum comfort. Additionally, a tail flap provides extra protection against the elements. Next, deep shoulder gussets give your horse the freedom of movement he needs while fleece lining on the wither reduces rubs. Two low-cross surcingles and nylon/elastic leg straps allow for a secure and comfortable fit. Excellent and functional
Size up by one, 2 sizes if covering another sheet or blanket. When the head goes down the entire sheet moves forward. Offers the BEST COVERAGE on wet, cold, windy days. Fabulous quality you will love 🖤

Smartpak does it AGAIN!
The good :
-In the right size this is an incredible fit (size up one size!)
-The fastening is amazing and keeps ALL of the cold out
-THE WARRANTY!!! I've already used it (oops!)
-NO GAPPING. The one thing I HATE about the normal Ultimate Turnouts is their neck fasteners! The elastic makes the neck sag down and leave a massive hole in protection. (not ideal for snow or rain!)
The "bad"
-It runs small compared to Horseware (I bought a 75 for my mare and it was way too small on her so I ended up using it for my gelding whos a 72 normally)
-The Velcro likes to stick to the liner and ended up eating mine up some (NO Worries though! Smartpak replaced it for me!)
-They run out of stock so I ended up having to wait for a replacement, No big deal for me because I'm a hoarder and have spares to my spares.

Not Waterproof When Needed
I bought three of these in December 2021 and used them once or twice before putting them on my senior (20-22) horses right before a week long rain storm. Went out during the first night of the storm and all three were sopping wet. I had to take them all of and leave them without blankets until they’re dry again (likely 5 days from now). I am disappointed in the product. I did speak with someone in customer service and they were helpful and sent replacements, but that doesn’t leave me with any options during a rain storm and I dislike SmartPak’s policy of requiring returned (defective) blankets to be cleaned at the customer’s expense. This has left me a bit disillusioned after 11 years of buying from SmartPak.

Great Protection from the Elements!
My typically hardy horses had a rough time with the rapid onset of winter this year, so I sprung for these sheets to go over their normal blankets for a little extra protection. I never thought a full-coverage blanket was necessary but I was wrong. The horses love these! They are so much more comfortable outside now especially when it's snowing/ raining. I plan on using these as rain sheets in the fall/spring and as outer layers over top of their blankets in winter. The Ultimate line is also worth the price! No problems yet with these blankets but I had some older Ultimate sheets replaced very easily when the waterproofing in them went bad. LOVE THESE BLANKETS!

Fits perfect! Best customer service as per usual!
This blanket fits my quarter horse mare perfectly! I love the additional cushioning at the top of the hood, it keeps her ears well protected. My mare loves to roll in the mud, and this blanket stays right in place, and has been solid through all of her shenanigans. I had a problem with the first blanket in terms of waterproofing, and SmartPak customer service came through for me right away and sent me a replacement super fast. Love this company so much. Love their products!
