Ugly saddle plate
This was large and chunky and not elegant at all. The block print I chose made it look worse. I will likely go to my local tack shop and order one there. This is the first negative experience I have had with a Smartpak product.

Disappointed
The plate is nice - I checked sizing and wanted a larger plate, so was happy with this. However, I ordered 2 and I can't attach the dang things to my saddles. The nails are so thin and so SHORT that they bend easily when trying to punch in, and just slide right out when you do manage to get them in. I made 2 holes in the back of an unblemished saddle, and the plate just fell right off. These need larger holes with more robust attachments, like screws. Missed the mark.

Great but should come with extra nails
I got this for my daughter’s saddle and it was worth the wait. Sadly upon installing one of the nails fell into the abyss of my tack room. So I can’t finish putting it on. It would be smart to send extras like how clothing companies send extra buttons. I tried to get a hold of smartpak to see if they somehow sell spare ones, but they are near impossible to get a hold of these days. I like the product, like with almost anything they sell, I’m just not happy with my experience. I tried 2 different methods to contact them from their website all of which redirected me to another method that was unavailable. I don’t have time to spend hours on hold just for some nails, so not sure what to do. If you buy this, be extra careful with the nails as there are no spares and apparently no way to get any spares.

Perfect saddle plate!
Love and adore this saddle plate! The product came exactly as described, and I love the script I chose. Sadly when I tried nailing one of the saddle plate nails in, I bent one of the nails. However, Smart Pak's customer service is amazing and when I called the customer service to possibly get them to send me more saddle plate nails, they were super understanding about the situation and sent me extra nails for no extra cost. Much appreciated and I thank the Smart Park customer service team for their incredible service!

Great Quality
I love this saddle nameplate! It’s so pretty and i love the fonts. My only complaint is that it was too small for the holes that were already in my saddle. They should also offer a bigger size. But other than that, I love it!

Super fast turn-around on a gift ordered!
This was the 1st time I've ordered online with Smartpak outside of their supplement business. I had just been brushed off by a different place of business when I tried to place an order over the phone(they did not offer what I needed on their website), despite the fact that I had ordered over the phone with them several times over the years. I was told I had to make the trip to the store and order in person. This I was unable to do. I checked out Smartpak's website, and they had an extremely easy form for ordering nameplates, PLUS Smartpak was offering a % off due to holiday sale, something the other store does not allow on nameplates. The item I was ordering was a Christmas gift for someone and I was concerned about getting it in time for the day, even though I was ordering it a few weeks in advance. The whole ordering process was extremely easy(I'm not the most tech-savvy person! so that's saying something) but what impressed me most was that I received the items in less than a week from the time I ordered them!! Custom pieces, delivered in under a week! I was extremely impressed! Now I will look first to Smartpak when I need to order something. Great service!
