Disappointed
I purchased this cinch for my very stocky mustang gelding 15.3 hands. I've been looking for a new cinch for him as my original one, used on my thoroughbred is a bit too big, and is no longer made. I love the old contoured shape but no manufacturer seems to make them anymore. The professional choice girth is way too wide and digs into his elbow. I thought is was because of the size, so I ordered another in a different size and same problem. I then tried it on a friend's horse and same problem. Also, the quality of the cinch is not reflecting the price. When the cinch is curved around the horses girth area, the neoprene wrinkles and would appear to cause pinching. I don't know for sure if it would actually pinch, as I did want to attempt to ride in it, possibly causing harm to my horse. I ended up purchasing a contoured weaver smart cinch from Amazon. Sorry SmartPak.

Best Western Girth Ever! Very Secure!
I bought this girth to keep my western saddle in place on a quarter horse who has a round back. It works great and my horse loves it! Very comfortable and I like the cutouts for the horses shoulders and legs. I just bought another two of them for our other sizes.

Does not move!!!
I got this because my old cinch didn’t keep my saddle in place but this is just the fix the ventilation is great for hot Texas weather it’s super cushioned and my horse loves it it’s super easy to clean to because you can just detach the neoprene liner and horse it off it will still look brand new

Best Contoured Cinch For the $$$$$$
My horse, Lucky, is very hard to fit a western saddle correctly. Saddles shift while riding because he is so roley poley. The first thing I noticed with the Professional's Choice Neoprene Contoured VenTECH Cinch is that the neoprene is very grippy. To add to that, the thick base between the front legs helps even more with the stability of the saddle. It also helps with even weight pressure. My saddle does not budge after riding.
It has a removable liner for simplified cleaning. I hose off the inner each time I ride. (Lucky is a sweater!). Every few weeks, I put it in the washing machine on delicate and air dry to give it a deep-down cleaning.
The stainless steel buckle has a new design. It still has the roller on the tightening side but has a new design shape. I like that the new shape allows, when not cinched up, to be hooked on to the leather cinch strap holder. It is much better than throwing a sweaty cinch up over the seat of the saddle for storage.
As I said, Lucky has no problem with anhydrosis, so having the venation holes keeps him as cool as possible. They allow airflow to penetrate the cinch.
Now, saving the best for last, the contour cinch allows for amazing freedom of movement! Lucky is a reining/ranch horse and needs maximum range of movement to perform to his best. The contour frees up his shoulders. There is a lot of shoulder clearance. The Professional's Choice Neoprene Contoured VenTECH Cinch is a less expensive alternative.
It is also available with A faux shearling liner that keeps your horse comfortable and is also easy to maintain. I guess that is my next purchase for shows!
