Disappointed with the fit and material
I was so, so excited to see breeches in actual extended sizes that fit bigger riders that also come in a variety of cute and stylish colors, and I ended up buying three pairs.
The fabric is awful - I don't own any other pants that I was absolutely desperate to get them off on a warm day because they don't breathe at all. I love the high waist but the fit was all over the place (too much between the crotch and the waist so they sagged, waist gap in the back, tight in the thigh and calf but gaping in the ankle and baggy at the knee so every step pulls them down) and they don't stretch well so I had to keep hiking them up - even when I was riding!
Very disappointing. I hope Smartpak keeps trying because there is a market out there for stylish riding clothes in extended sizes.

Nice Fabric!
I love the material of these Pipers, they're comfortable, not too thick for the summer, and so easy to brush dirt off. The fit is a little weird though; I'm between a 24 and 26 in most breeches and I have one pair of these in a 26 that fit okay but I had to exchange these 26 for a 24. They're a little snug on the hips but really big from the knee down. I'm willing to deal with it because the waist is good and the fabric is awesome.

Doesn't hold shape
Fabric stays clean, great colors, but after washing, I find them stretching out in weird places and not retaining their shape. They're actually so baggy at the ankles now that I can no longer wear socks over the breeches. I bought two pairs and they both did that, so I won't be buying these again.

CURVY RIDER MUST HAVE
Do not sleep on these breeches if you are a curvy, plus sized, Queen. Or tall. Or oddly built. Or just still hung up on the comforts of 90’s era high waisted jeans.
They are SO STRETCHY. SO STRETCHY!! In all directions. No more hiking things up into your leg pits to mount. No more riding in the pants equivalent of a straight jacket. Simone Biles could do her Olympic routine in these things.
Literally the only thing I have to say bad about these babies is that I have nightmares about accidentally drying them… hang to dry only. But I’ll take it for how comfy they are!!!!

Great fabric!
These breeches are super comfortable to ride in, the fabric has a great feel with stretch plus does a great job shedding dirt. I did go down a size, too baggy through the knee and lower leg, the high waist rides where it should. I would have given them 5 stars but the knee patch either needs to be bigger or sewn a little lower on breech leg.

Piper style, but different fabric
I bought these because I love my Pipers, but this pair has a much different fabric than previous pairs I've ordered. It's a more-synthetic feeling, almost leggings-type material. The back pockets are also smaller - I used to be able to fit my phone in then without issue, but it doesn't really fit in this pair.

Evolution High Rise Breeches
Love high rise, but did not love these. I ordered the same Piper sizer I normally do, but these were a bit baggy, and the fabric is not like other Piper breeches I’ve ordered—it’s slick and not particularly comfortable. I wore them once before I realized that I didn’t especially like them, so I was unable to return them. But, they are not up to the Piper standard of my other breeches.
