DO NOT USE ON HORSES INTENDED FOR SLAUGHTER
HORSES AND PONIES: To repel and kill Horn Flies, Stable Flies, House Flies, Horse Flies, Deer Flies, Mosquitoes and Gnats, apply EQUISECT™ Fly Repellent as directed below.
As a Spray: Remove excess dirt and dust. Apply a light spray mist sufficient to wet the surface of the hair while brushing lightly against the lay of the hair. Avoid spraying in eyes and mucous membranes. Apply with a sponge or soft cloth to these areas.
As a Wipe-On: Thoroughly brush horse to remove dirt and dust. Extremely dirty horses should be shampooed, rinsed and allowed to dry before applying. Use a sponge or clean soft cloth.
Apply EQUISECT™ Fly Repellent to point before runoff over areas to be protected. Pay special attention to legs, belly, shoulders, neck and facial areas. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes.
Repeat treatment daily or at intervals necessary to give continued protection.
To control blood-sucking lice apply EQUISECT™ Fly Repellent to the infested areas of the animal using a stiff brush to get the spray to the base of the hair. Repeat every 2 to 3 weeks if required.
DOGS AND CATS: To control fleas and ticks on dogs and cats, apply EQUISECT™ Fly Repellent starting at the animal’s head (avoiding the eyes, nose and mouth as you spray). Make sure the entire body is covered, including the legs, underbody and tail. While spraying, fluff the hair so that the spray will penetrate to the skin. Make sure spray wets the animal thoroughly. Avoid contact with genitalia. Repeat treatment daily. Do not use on dogs and cats under 12 weeks of age. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant, medicated or nursing animals.
Sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide products for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.
PET AREAS: To control fleas and ticks in premises, thoroughly spray infested areas, pet beds, quarters, nearby cracks and crevices, along and behind baseboards, moldings, window and door frames with EQUISECT™ Fly Repellent. Fresh bedding should be placed in the animal’s quarters following treatment. Repeat as needed. Concurrent treatment of pets with a registered on animal product is recommended. Allow all treated surfaces to dry before permitting pets to reoccupy area.

Does not work.
Bought my mistake, never tried this brand so I took a chance. The flies stayed off my horse only while the spay went on wet. Once it dried, it stopped working and the flies were back, so basically lasted a minute or two.

Smells nice, doesn't last super long
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this fly spray due to it being water based. I used an oil based fly spray last year that ended up burning some of my more sensitive horses in the hot summer months because of the oil base and the sun.
This fly spray was definitely better to use on my thin skinned Thoroughbreds as far as sunburns/skin reactions go, they all responded well to my using it. The only downside being, that it didn't seem to last very long.
It works long enough for a short ride/work session, but after about 30 minutes it seems like the bugs are back on them again.
I do like the smell of this fly spray, it doesn't smell "chemically" like some can and has a pleasant fragrance, I just wish it lasted longer.

Great for sensitive skin
Our new welsh pony has very sensitive skin, which we learned after using a stronger spray on him which created hot spots and hair loss. I read a lot of reviews and decided to try this one, and it hasn’t bothered him at all. It doesn’t last more than a day but it’s better than injuring his skin.

Nice fly spray
For the last five or so years, I was using UltraShield Green, but this year it didn't seen to work as well anymore. I'm not sure if they changed the formula or what.
So I tried this one. And it works pretty well! Nice spray handle and smell too.

Works well!!
Best fly spray for my TB as he is skin is sensitive to some of the harsher sprays. Works well here in Florida and doesn’t irritate his skin!!

Good results for goat lice
I had a horrible time getting rid of suckling goat lice using other products. My poor goats were miserable and the treatments of DE , oils, etc. were messy and a waste of my time and money. Use this spray as close to the skin as possible and in two days, your goats will thank you.
