Bridle fell off horses head due to thick fabric
Hi. I thought this bonnet would be a good alternative for spooky horses that are ear shy. While riding one he shock his head and the bonnet and the bridle fell off. I had to emergency dismount and the horse tore around the arena. I thought wow that’s strange and then I spoke to two other trainers that had the same experience. ..the horse shaking their bridles off. The fabric is thick and prevents the bridle from sitting properly on their heads.

Works amazing for my very noise sensitive horse!
My horse that normally is a looker and will look at anything as well as sidestep from it, has been perfect and amazing since he started wearing it. This has become a staple to my tack :)

This is a substantial ear bonnet. I don't know how it will be when the weather gets warmer. I usually purchase XL ear bonnets for the WBs but based on reviews, and the fact that Smartpak doesn't carry that size in these, I got the horse size. It stays under the bridle just fine but believe it or not the ears were too small/ short for the horse I bought it for. So I am going to use it on another horse with smaller ears.

Useful but huge
I ordered this in horse size and it's simply way too big for my horse. I like the look and feel of it but he looked like he was wearing a suit of armor to go jousting. He's not even that small - 16 hands ish. Smartpak doesn't sell it in pony size. I returned it
