So comfortable!
I recently purchased these stirrups for my dressage saddle and so far I love them! I was worried about them being too wide but they feel great. They also have a great grip on the sole of your boot. Great stirrup for the price I think!

Love them!!!
The reviews are right. I have only ridden in them twice, but one of the rides was for several hours on a trail ride. Guess what!!?? No knee pain ❤️. I have been recommending them to all of my friends!!

Happy joints :)
Very happy with this purchase! I rode with Herm Sprenger System 4 irons and usually started getting achy knees after an hour.
I went on a hunter pace in these composites and was in the saddle for 2hrs+ over all kinds of terrain with zero knee pain! Plus the wide bed gave me a lot more security; it felt like my foot was glued in.
Definitely recommend, especially at this price point.

My Ankles Don't Hurt Anymore!
I bought these stirrups about 6 months ago, and have been obsessed with them ever since. I've never had any injuries to my ankles/feet and I'm quite young, however riding in traditional fillis irons made my ankles + feet hurt a lot. After trying three (jointed, wide footbed, and cushy footbed) separate types of stirrups that promised to help with the pain the only ones I noticed a difference in were these. They're just wide enough to keep my ankles from overflexing and support the ball of my foot, but not so wide that my entire foot is on the stirrup. I love the lightweight component as well, my saddle gets scratched a lot less but they're just heavy enough to not bounce around when I lose a stirrup. Love these, changed my riding completely. Plus, with the price they're a total steal.

So light yet strong!
First I need to thank Liz in customer service. She sent me a second pair because the first one was a little off. She made a point of rushing it to me so I could use them on my camping trip this weekend. She also called to let me know its on its way and wished me a great trip. Smartpak's customer service is AMAZING. I love the stirrups too! We are conditioning for endurance races this summer and my knees and ankles felt great even after 3 hours of fast riding.

Comfortable and great value
I'd always ridden in traditional fillis irons, but after riding in a friend's Compositi Reflexes, I immediately bought a pair of my own. That was 4 months ago and I am still so happy with them. I love how light they are, and the wide footbed is much more comfortable for my feet and knees. The footbed is grippy but not sharp like metal ones. I don't think about them when I'm riding -- my foot stays where it needs to be, and I don't feel like I'm fighting my stirrups. This wasn't the case with my traditional fillis irons. For comparison, I tried a pair of Jins for a few rides and much prefer the Compositis -- the metal footbed of the Jins was uncomfortable on the ball of my foot, and they would scratch my saddle if I wasn't really careful running my stirrups up/down...way more trouble than they were worth. If you prefer a heavier stirrup, or don't like a wide footbed, the Compositi Reflexes are not for you. But if you're curious about them, take the leap and give them a try :)

I LOVE THESE!!!
I’ve only used them a few times now but they’re so much better than my jointed stirrups. I like how light they are, they help me with keeping my heels down, and I don’t lose stirrups. I have not had knee problems either and they are so comfortable! Excellent product for its price too!

pleasantly surprised!
I was a bit skeptical to purchase these irons just because there aren't any reviews but I'm glad I did. first of all, these are extremely cheap for the quality. I'm sure a lot of us have found ourselves looking at the $200 stirrups but I simply can't afford those. I have always heard great things about the regular compositi stirrups but wanted something a bit more stable. and stable they are. the grips are extremely secure for being plastic and the footbed actually bends to help your heel go down more. second, I must warn you if you are looking for flashy stirrups for a rated show these might not be for you. they come in many diffrent colors but even if you got the white ones I still wouldn't recommend these for showing. third, the picture is a bit deceiving, compared to the normal compositi stirrups these don't look too much wider but they are. they run true to size but are much wider than the pictures make them look. they are also very lightweight so perfect for doing no stirrup work. Overall I would reccomend these stirrups to anyone who wants something stable and good quality for schooling or schooling shows.
