Great product at an affordable price!
I ride a 5 year old OTTB. I’m lucky that he gets pasture turnout daily. In the winter, we try to maintain our training of five rides a week. Sometimes weather interferes with thisI added Smart & Simple Magnesium to my horse's diet because I was looking to help calm my horse during winter training. My horse is a pretty easy-going guy but winter can be tough riding in an indoor for months and limited turnout due to weather. After reading that horses commonly have a magnesium deficiency I thought I'd give it a try. So far my horse seems more restful in his stall and less edgy in the indoor. I love that this product promotes relaxation for horses that are not needing an actual calming supplement.

Price Gouging!
Absolutely disgraceful price gouging. This product was less than $50 for a 10lb bag from Uckele earlier this year. Now $30 for 1lb? Count me among those who won't ever buy anything from Smartpak again. I guess most of what we pay for with this company is the brand name.

UNNECESSARY price increase!
Unhappy about the price increase! Uckele used to be so affordable and i couldnt figure out why i couldnt buy it anymore. Turns out smartpak bought them out and now i cant afford it! Going elsewhere

Ridiculous Price Increase
I’m really disappointed in SmartPak. This used to be a really great and affordable product. They bought Uckele and then increased the price from $44 for 10 lbs to $29 for 1lb. Thats a 650% price increase. I’ll be buying all my supplements from a different company from now on. One that that actually cares about their customers and horse’s health.

The Gouging of equine aficionados
This product used to be made by Uckele, a family-owned company for over 60 years. Then in summer 2023, SmartPak bought the company and has raised the price of the product from $15 for 2 lb.s to $30 for 1.1 lb. DISGRACEFUL!!!
