Promotes a normal gastric environment
In nature, horses graze and secrete saliva constantly, which buffers the stomach from gastric acid. When horses are stalled, this natural buffering mechanism is disrupted, and acid indigestion often results. Neigh-Lox® is designed to support normal stomach function by maintaining healthy acid levels and coating sensitive tissues. The ingredients in Neigh-Lox are long acting. The manufacturer recommends a SmartPak dosage of 1-2 scoops (2-4 oz) both AM and PM.

Great product

It is working g for 2 of my horses
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 of my horses have been on this supplement for about 4 months. There is a change in both. Wish you guys would stick it or make something like it.i was given your product, sample, not enough to really see if it will work. It would likely work.

Not for my horse
I know every horse is different, and this product had great reviews. I decided to give it a try, given my mare is very ulcer prone. Her behavior quickly started to deteriorate with the use of this supplement. I know People too that have used this and their horses responded positively on it, it's just not the right supplement for my mare. I'll be trying the 60 day challenge with Succeed instead, as I've tried a lot of other supplements without much success. The supplement itself wasn't of bad quality at least. My mare isn't a picky eater, she will literally eat rocks if you put it in her feed bin. So she of course ate this with no issue.

Works, but you have to feed SO much!
I bought this supplement because it was vet recommended for my horse on stall rest with bute in order to help prevent him from developing stomach ulcers. I believe that the supplement has done its job, as I have noticed no signs of ulcers; however, I cannot believe how many scoops you have to feed a day! I have a large pony, so I was feeding the low end of the recommended dose and it was still FOUR scoops per day! The high end hits 8...I would have to think there is a way to lower the amount that is necessary to feed for results.
On the other hand, my pony is a vert picky eater and he ate it no problem, so that was good!

Horse loves it!
My vet recently prescrbed Levothyroxine for my horse -- but we had problems getting him to eat the stuff. Along came my first order of Neigh-Lox a few days later. Lo and behold, he loves the neigh-Lox xo much that he eats the Levothyroxine right up when they're mixed together. Win-win!

Works and my horse loves eating it out of my hand
After significant cost resolving the acute ulcer with GastroGuard, Neigh-Lox has helped to maintain my horse comfortably with GastroGuard only necessary for shows or other out of the normal events. AND the best part - he loves to eat it!

Neighlox performance
I have used neighlox for 15 years, I have a 23 year old appendix, was born in Kentucky and raced on all three track but retired at 3 years old due to dry socket knee and bleeding ulser...once I saw the difference neighlox made I was hooked and so was my horse.
