Horse wouldn't eat it
I bought this a week or so ago to help entice my house to eat his supplements. He wouldn't even go near his grain when I added this product. I was really hoping it would work.

Liked the smell but wouldn't try it
My horse loves peppermints so I bought this to add to his feed to mask his supplements. While he was intrigued by the smell after multiple attempts he still refused to eat it. Smartpak was kind enough to send me the molasses one to try for free so hopefully I will have better luck with that one.

Great product!
My horse is forage based and decided that his timothy pellets were boring. I bought this to see if I could get him to start eating again. He has been devouring his meals since! The gallon pump is a life saver as far as quantity and mess. Great product and will be continuing!

Great idea! Had high hopes for this product.
My 19y/o Paso Fino was diagnosed with IR and recently had a second episode of laminitis. Even though we have restricted his diet and and turnout over the last few years, even now he is wearing a grazing muzzle in January in Pennsylvania, The vet recommended we try Metformin, which while does not have great absorption for horses, I was willing to try. The pills were large and the dosage when crushed was about 1.5 Tbls. This was mixed into 4oz of ration balancer. He ate it once, and that was it. I think the amount of medication overpowered the masking abilities of the sweetner. If the amount of feed volume had been greater, I think there would have been better result.

Equi sweet peppermint
My pony is so particular when it comes to adding vitamins or medications to her feed. Once I started adding the Equi Sweet to her feed she's never turned her nose up at food again. I've recommended this to everyone I know.

Great substitute for Gatorade
My horse in sometime be a difficult drinker in the winter. I add this to warm water and he drinks it immediately. I use to use Gatorade powder but love this option due to the sugar content or lack there of for my laminitic horse.

EquiSweet
I bought this to top an insulin resistant horse's metformin which she would not take. She loves the taste of the peppermint and has started taking her medication.

Cushings/ Laminitis horse/Excellent product
My beautiful 26 year old quarter/Arab horse has cushings, and a couple of bouts with laminitis. With low sugar, starch changes in diet,I added a little peppermint equisweet to his triple Crown lite, with powdered supplements to help his condition. He absolutely loves it! And when I occasionally have to give bute(powder) with water in syringe, he hates it! I tried bute tablets(no sugar),crushed in a coffee grinder, then mix a a small amount of water and equisweet in syringe, and he actually likes it!! Huge thanks Ukele for this, and totally safe, no sugar! Wonderful consistency too!
