Equine anhidrosis is the inability to sweat adequately when necessary. This condition is most often seen in horses that live in hot, humid climates. Other signs include increased respiratory rate, elevated temperature, areas of hair loss, and dry and flaky skin. If your horse isn't sweating normally, talk to your veterinarian about how you can help your horse. Supplements in this category provide ingredients that may help support normal sweating.
